A flamingo-pink, Mediterranean landmark chiseled into the blue Florida sky, accented by Moorish bell towers, imperial turrets, clock tower, sun-splashed terraces and rows and rows of Palladian windows encased with French doors.
Creating a new sense of arrival, guests experience grandeur when entering the revitalized lobby with rich mahogany accents and vibrant upholsteries throughout the concierge and registration areas. The lobby lounge immerses guests in an elegant atmosphere combining refined European charm with a twist of tropical ambiance.
Interior elegance is emulated by European touches with English Axminster carpets, Italian crystal chandeliers, French candelabras and fountains, and works of art depicting picturesque Florida.

The rose-colored sandcastle opened in 1928 as the Gulf playground for America's pampered rich. F. Scott Fitzgerald, Lou Gehrig, Clarence Darrow and other elite fancied in its frivolity for 14 years.
The realism of war and depression shortly crumbled the fairytale to a mere shadow (1942). For three decades, The Don served as a convalescent center and VA headquarters. Miraculously, in 1973, it was re-sculpted and rose again as the Pink Lady.

•Babysitting services are in no way affiliated with The Don CeSar Beach Resort or Loews Hotels as the sitters are acting as independent contractors outside of their normal working hours
•Babysitting is available after 5:00pm only
•Sitting services are available for children of any age, on hotel property only
•Sitting services entirely contingent upon staff availability and discretion
•Rates subject to change
•All sitting services must be paid for in cash at time of service
•Pricing includes sitter in guest room only
•If guest would like access to Camp CeSar’s camp room after hours, please add an additional $5.00 per child, per hour

- A flat fee of $25 per pet per stay will be assessed for each pet staying in a hotel guest room. The fee covers the expenses associated with the extra special attention we pay to cleaning and maintaining your room so that it stays fresh for both pets and owners. The weight limit for any animal is 25 pounds
